Ski Patrol

NATIONAL SKI PATROL
Since its formation in 1938, the National Ski Patrol (NSP) has evolved into one of the largest outdoor-winter rescue organizations in the world. It is composed of more than 28,500 members serving over 600 ski patrols including volunteer, paid, alpine, snowboard and nordic patrollers throughout the United States and certain military areas in Europe. The NSP membership provides countless years of service and devotion to the skiing community by providing safety education, emergency care, and rescue services.

In 1980, the National Ski Patrol was recognized as a Federal Charter by the United States Congress. This is a coveted endorsement that only a few other American institutions, such as the Red Cross, the YMCA, and the Boy Scouts, have earned. The Charter stipulates the promotion of safety and health in skiing and other outdoor winter recreational activities. The NSP reports directly to Congress.

The Snow Creek Ski Patrol consists of dedicated volunteers promoting ski/boarding safety. Our responsibilities include promoting the international responsibility code and providing emergency care and rescue. Our mission is to be trained in rescue and first aid treatment and to demonstrate and promote safe sliding and riding responsibilities to visitors of Snow Creek. We offer this service in a professional and courteous manner, affording the best public relations possible for Snow Creek and our organization.                                                                                  

NSAA Safety Tips

PATROL LOG IN PAGE - This site is for Snow Creek national Ski Patrol members only.  It is password protected.  (Contact your patrol director for the login & password information) 

All patroller paperwork that is requesting season pass or comp card benefits must be in by Nov. 23 to be processed that same week.   Request received after that date will have a 7 day delay for processing.  Patrollers will not be able to use season pass or comp benefits until the 7 day waiting period had passed.  There will be no exceptions to this, so please get all your paperwork in on time.
